Jenny Mak (Co-Chair)
Jenny Mak commits to empower women and make a difference in our community. Jenny sat on the board of international non-profit organizations in different countries before. Jenny is the Assistant Director of Student Affairs of Vancouver Premier College, as part of the management team, she provides leadership and strategy in the administration and management. Jenny’s Motto is “Live your life with Passion!” – Let’s Create something meaningful together with RWRC when we look back at the end of our lives – the memories and what we experience together, will complete and fulfill our lives!

Tema (Tammi) Belfer (Member at Large)
Tammi Belfer came to Richmond Women’s Resource Centre in 2015. Since that time, she has been actively involved in International Women’s Day, Brunch at Steveston Seafood House and many other fundraising and community events. Tammi and her family came to Richmond in 1977 and she has continually been involved with her two children’s schools, swim club and has been on Board of Directors for several different organizations in Richmond. Tammi retired from Coast Capital Insurance after 25 years and continues to work part time. She is also involved with and teaches for a private college in Richmond. Her dedication and commitment to Richmond Women’s Resource Centre follows her own personal value system – help people help themselves. Tammi’s vision for RWRC is that it be the first choice for all women in Richmond – to obtain information, support, help them rise above adversity through peer support, attend programs and have learning opportunities to build their skills.
Marielle Demorest (Member At Large)
Marielle has been active in women’s issues since 1970. She is the co-founder of the Richmond Women’s Centre and has continued as a Board member since its inception in 1976. Marielle currently participates in a variety of community committees and is winner of the 2002 Volunteer Richmond’s Community Service Award.
