What a fun time we had yesterday “learning new things!” Our group had the first of two gouache painting sessions with wonderful Emily Carr trained artist and instructor Erin Green. We love when Erin visits us, and participants always have a wonderful time.

This week, the group started a Disney themed “Alice in Wonderland” painting (sparkly bunnies and froggies in the room for inspiration!).

After so much good work, we needed a little treat and so tried a delicious Taiwanese bubble tea from ChooWee Beverage & Cake – we liked it!

We look forward to next weekend and welcoming Erin back for
gouache painting session #2 of this series and seeing everyone’s completed paintings!
