Our hearts are full! 💖 What a great day spent celebrating the 11th Philippine Flag Raising ceremony with our Richmond Community! It was a wonderful morning of greetings, a parade, traditional dances and a chance to celebrate Filipino culture together.
We also got to meet up with Keem – owner of @icekeemshop and to pick up delicious “Ice Keem” for our “ice cream social” – in traditional Filipino flavours – ube, coconut pandan, mango cheese, milo- milk chocolate and durian! Ube was most popular but all flavours were delicious and so enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Keem for adding this delicious sweetness to the day!
While we enjoyed our ice cream, we chatted, listened to traditional music, signed a card, played some games and just enjoyed spending time together!
Heartfelt thanks to all who came out today – it was an honour and a joy to be part of this special day!
