Victoria Day Watercolour Painting Workshop

Happy Victoria Day long weekend! We were so lucky to have Erin (@children.of.the.craft) visit us again and lead a special watercolour session painting beautiful Canadian landscapes to celebrate the Victoria Day holiday.

Such a fun & peaceful afternoon with new & old friends – a British bulldog even snuck in to join the celebrations! As it was Victoria Day – we had special themed snacks (why not?!) – from the Steveston Best of British store (tasty pop & “crisps,” jammy dodgers and penguins!). Thanks to the lovely store staff for helping us with our selections!

Making art is so helpful to bring out creative self-expression and take time to relax and try new things. Some feedback from participants:

“This workshop made me feel happy and built my self-confidence”
“Erin is a wonderful teacher and so encouraging”
“Love to make new friends and the camaraderie”
“Please lets do more painting!”

Thank you to Erin and our wonderful participants for a great, creative and fun afternoon!
